Scott is a member of the Executive Team of Central Bancorp and is leading the organizations efforts to garner the necessary approvals to obtain a Colorado State bank charter.

Prior to joining Central Bancorp, Scott was President and Chief Executive of Union Bancorp, a regional financial services company based in Ottawa, Illinois. Through Scott’s leadership, this organization improved operating results and grew to become one of the largest community banks in Illinois. Scott and his team developed effective strategies and measurements to ensure that the bank was improving in the right customer relationship oriented activities.

Before coming to Union Bancorp, Scott was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Associated Bank Lakeshore in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Under his tenure, average annual pre-tax earnings growth exceeded 12%. Scott also held various Executive positions with mid-west financial institutions including Continental Bank, Citicorp North America and American National Bank and Trust Company – all in Chicago.

Scott earned a reputation for being an energetic and decisive banking executive, who improved performance by focusing on quality and customer service. As a trusted advisor, Scott introduced his clients to multiple units of the bank to facilitate access to many value added services. He also helped his clients grow via acquisitions, while optimizing their returns on liquid funds and overall capital.

Scott’s past community involvement is extensive, including board positions with Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, Wisconsin; The Capital Civic Centre, Manitowoc, Wisconsin and the Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA board of directors.
